Testimonial - Mangosteen and Cancer

Thanks to Karen Veverka, my upline sponsor, for passing this along. Karen was so happy and proud to be able to help Gina. Yes, telling people about Xango is financially rewarding, but this type of inspiration is what really keeps me going. Gina runs a day care out of her home outside of Cleveland, OH. Hopefully this will inspire others to try the 21-day challenge for major health issues.

This is my journey through being diagnosed with follicular thyroid cancer.
In July of 2007 I went to get my bloodpressure medicine refilled at the doctor.
The doctor said she felt a "thickening" in my neck.
At that point she wasn't even sure it was my thyriod.
It just so happened I went to the ENT the next Friday with one of my children.
I had mentioned it to him.
He sat me in the chair and felt my neck.
He said yes it was my thyriod, he felt three nodules.
He biopsied them in the office.
I had never had a needle biopsy before, I was really scared.
The results came back that the cells in the nodules were known to cause cancer.
He sent me for another test called a thyroid scan and uptake.
The results came back that the nodules were cold which ment it was cancer.
I was scheduled for surgery on October 3, 2007. I was told that if it was cancer he would remove my entire thyroid.
They biopsied the nodules in surgery and said no it wasn't cancer.
We were elated for about a week.
I went back in for a follow-up check up, was told that it WAS cancer ,and I had to have a second surgery immediately to remove the rest of my thyroid.
On October 17th I went in for a second surgery. Needless to say I was weak and not feeling well at all. They gave me a couple of weeks to rest and gave me an Isotope 131 radiation treatment.
I was isolated for 4 days from everyone, and on a special low iodine diet.
Yuck.
I was allowed to eat 5oz of plain chicken a day, matzo, fruits and veggies.
I lost 20 lbs.
I got sick from the treatment and was throwing up radiation.
I burned all my tastebuds, and still don't have all of them back. I can taste but things don't taste the same as they use to.
I was so tired and weak from the treatment that it was hard to go Christmas shopping, or enjoy the holidays.
I had a body scan and discovered the cancer spread to my sinuses and lungs.
At that point I figured my life couldn't get any worse, then I met Carol Trenka and Karen Veverka.
When Carol heard I had cancer she sprang into action, and had me talk to Karen about Xango.
She said there was a 21 day cancer challenge and wanted me to participate.
I gave it a shot.
I just received my bloodwork back on Feburary 22, 2008.
My doctor said my bloodwork is "excellent."
He said I would not have to have another treatment. I will have more tests done in May to see if the cancer spread anywere else, beside my thyroid , lung, and sinuses.
I have been taking Xango since January 3rd and have never felt better.
I have energy and can finally do the things I couldn't do three months ago.
Even my asthma is better.
I have not used my inhaler in 3 weeks
I love life now and am able to keep up with everyone now.
I owe my life to Karen Veverka, Carol Trenka and Xango.
I hopefully will be around a long time to see my 4 children grow up.
They say there are angels on this earth and I am glad that God sent Karen and Carol to save my life with Xango!
Karen I hope this helps somene else with this disease, and they take the challenge also to make their life better.
Have a great day!

The Word on Mangosteen is Getting Around!

Here is a small excerpt from Forbes.com that was written last fall by Allison Van Dusen

Ten Health Trends You Can't Ignore

by Allison Van Dusen

Your diet may be full of whole grain and organic foods, and your medicine cabinet loaded with the latest fat-fighting pills. But if you really want to get ahead of the health care curve, you'll need a kitchen full of mangosteens and a gym that will let you chase dragons.

Super fruits and entertaining workout equipment are just two of the newest trends in the world of health and fitness, where time-starved, stressed-out consumers are demanding new and easy ways to look and feel good.

"The biggest health and wellness issue out there right now is stress," says Barbara Katz, president of Florida-based consulting company HealthFocus International. "It's impacting people across the board. That's one of the reasons everybody is interested in antioxidants."

In Pictures: 10 Health Trends You Can't Ignore

Foods that contain antioxidants--molecules thought to prevent some diseases and promote good health-- have been increasingly popular in recent years. Consumers are seeking out foods with the highest concentrations of the stuff, like the Brazilian acai berry and the mangosteen, a fruit common in Southeast Asian cuisine. These so-called "super fruits" are increasingly becoming mainstream, says Katz. ----

XanGo Receives Humanitarian Award from Virgo Publishing

XanGo Honored in Inaugural "Focus on the Future" Awards

LEHI, UT – Jan. 24, 2008 – Global nutritionals leader XanGo, LLC, received Virgo Publishing's inaugural "Focus on the Future" Humanitarian Award for its support of XanGo Goodness. Since the company's founding in 2002, XanGo has contributed to global humanitarian causes that benefit children and families in need.

In presenting XanGo with its Humanitarian Award, Virgo Publishing recognized the company for making significant contributions to the betterment of the community through charitable and public service work. XanGo co-founder and President of Sales and Marketing Gordon Morton, who started XanGo's charitable giving by making a company donation before turning the first profit, thanked Virgo Publishing for recognizing what continues to be a major area of focus for the company and its distributors and employees.

"It is with great honor that we accept this award on behalf of our distributors, employees and partners around the world who join us in making the XanGo Goodness movement possible," said Morton. "XanGo is pleased to be making a difference by focusing on successful outcomes that benefit those at risk or in need both at home and abroad."

XanGo Goodness is a global mission to raise social consciousness and mobilize XanGo's global resources to serve, support and improve communities in need. Driven by action, XanGo encourages its partners to roll up their sleeves and get involved. XanGo Goodness transcends mere "check-writing" – it is focused on improving outcomes.

XanGo staff and distributors participate in XanGo Goodness by giving their time and money to help in sustainable humanitarian efforts, medical expeditions, volunteer programs, community health education and on advisory boards. A significant portion of company profits are donated each year to XanGo Goodness.

In addition to ongoing charitable efforts in markets where it does business, XanGo also supports relief efforts around the world. Examples of this work include helping rebuild a village devastated by the tsunami in Thailand, supporting cleft-lip and cleft-palate corrective surgeries in Mexico, sending medical expeditions to Africa and South America, and helping to rebuild community centers and sports fields in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

In October 2007, XanGo introduced the XanGo Goodness Meal Pack, an innovative product formulation designed to treat the severely malnourished in impoverished, famined and war-torn regions of the world. Distributed as a dry powder, the Meal Pack provides essential life-saving nutrients to those on the brink of starvation by simply adding water.

Kent Wood, XanGo's co-founder and president, received the award during Virgo Publishing's Focus on the Future 2008 dinner in Scottsdale, AZ on January 22, 2008.

How Statin Drugs Weaken Muscle Tissue

Statins, a popular set of drugs used to lower cholesterol, can result in muscle weakness and pain, and even debilitating and life-threatening muscle damage. A new study offers the first evidence that a gene known as atrogin-1 plays a key role in statin-related muscle toxicity.

Statins such as Lipitor, Zocor, Pavacol and Mevacor lower cholesterol by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, a key enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. But they may also activate the atrogin-1 gene, which plays a key role in muscle atrophy.

Three separate tests showed that even at low concentrations, statin drugs led to atrogin-1 induced muscle damage. As the concentration was increased, the damage increased as well.

New Prospecting Tool - New School Dial Suite

Very Important Personal Message from Master Prospector and 100K Aaron Rashkin

If you have been following along over the past few years as my wife Sophia & I have grown our own XanGo business, you would have noticed the many different ways that we've built.

We started with Warm Market, calling family, friends and people we knew.

We then began making 3rd Party / Referral Calls to our New Distributor's Warm Market, getting many of these people signed up. We still called our own Warm Market.

We then began calling Cold Market and bringing on board others from different cities and even countries. We still called Warm Market and our New Distributor's Warm Market.

Then we built in a Local Market primarily, doing one on one's, using the phone & internet to get people exposed. We sill called Warm Market, our New Distributor's Warm Market & called Cold Market.

We've used CDs, DVDs, Brochures & Sizzle Cards with our Warm Market, our Distributor's Warm Market, a Cold Market and Local Market.

We then began a string of Home Parties that ran for over 30 weeks consecutive. We did them every single Friday Night / Saturday Day or Night for months on end, getting better and better each week.

So, here's my message and why I'm telling you this:

All of it works. Every single way. The Tools we have used over the years have all been excellent and we continue to use them to this day.

Whether or not our Tools & Systems work is not in question; it's whether you are willing to do what it takes to make the tools and systems work is what is in question.

I can tell you this , if you want to increase your rate of success, you must increase your rate of failure.

Doing nothing results in nothing.

Doing a lot, while becoming a lot, results in long term, steady growth; not just in your business, but in yourself.

And since it is you that people get started for, along with the value they see in XanGo, this is the real formula for your success.

All I can tell you is this. If you are not prospecting and becoming a leader, the incredulous success that XanGo has had over the years, does not matter.

What matters is how you grow as a leader and as a marketer. Most people who have not grown, will blame XanGo and leave for some Mickey Mouse Deal because they think it's easier to be more successful in another company. I see it every day. Those who struggled for years in XanGo and who go over to other companies and struggle there too. LOL!

Many of them are reading this message and I know who they are, b/c my Delivery Report shows that they've opened and read every one of my emails for months, even years! Sadly enough, they still struggle. Go figure!

Anyway, back on target here:

The #1 Skill you MUST master to succeed is Prospecting. Do it and learn from your mistakes, and you will grow. Do it not and you will wind up being one of those people who have their first year in XanGo, year after year after year.

With that being said, my blessing goes out to everyone who is investing in their long term success as a leader by using our brand new calling system called NewSchoolDialSuite.com.

This tool is by far the single most important tool, along with MJS that we've seen in a long, long time in XanGo.

Learn to use these two tools together and you have a 1 - 2 punch that will help you take your own business to a new level, because YOU will rise to a new level.

I truly believe that those who engage in the NewSchoolDialSuite & MJS as a tandem, will QUANTIFY their results in a fraction of the time that it would normally take by just working in a Warm Market, going WIDE at first instead of Streamlining.

We've already seen the power of MJS and now, with the power that the Dial Suite brings, all bets are off when it comes to how quickly those who use these two together will reach new levels of success.

Here is what I've found.

To help someone get to 1K FAST, work with them in their Warm Market while using MyJetStream.

To help someone get to 5K Fast, have them continue to work in their Warm Market, but also begin learning some Cold Market skills.

This is what the Dial Suite will help people do.

Then, while they learn these new skills, they will also be continuing to work in their Warm Market.

This is the key; to mix new skills with old contacts and new skills with new contacts. You will be shocked at how quickly someone who is stuck at Preferred Rep, 1K or even 5K, moves up XanGo's Compensation Plan following this formula.

If you have been stuck and you are frustrated, do something new. Remember doing more of what is not already working, doesn't make it any better.

If you want to increase your value in the marketplace, learn new skills. This is how you take it to the top. This is how you break out of the rut you might be in. This is how you increase your worth in the marketplace and get bigger, better and more frequent checks.

This is how you succeed.

I cannot say it any other way.

Learn new skills for today's marketplace or perish.

The rules are different and the game has changed.

Make it a great night, get your XanGo Singles and get onto the NewSchoolDialSuite.

Best regards,

Aaron Rashkin

Mangosteen and Arthritis - Another Testimonial

Testimony on Arthritis...

In 2002 I started experiencing pain and swelling in my left hand and elbow. That entire year it was getting worse and as I am a body builder and exercise person, it was becoming a problem in several resistance training exercises.
As I was approaching 65 years of age, I suspected Arthritis. So I went to see a R/A doctor and after several tests his prognosis was Arthritis, Bursitis and put me on several medications.

During the next several years the condition worsened. I could not close my hand into a fist and my hand had swelled to a point of having to cut my wedding ring off my finger. My elbow hurt so bad that several exercises had to be omitted from my schedule at the gym, because there was to much pain. It was a 24/7 pain situation that the doctor couldn't do any more that he was doing, which was medication that wasn't working...

In June of 2005 my wife, who had been taking Mangosteen Juice, also known as XanGo, for Fibromyalgia, for several months with great results, suggested that I try the Mangosteen Juice and I did.

Within two months the swelling in my hand was going down. Two months later I had good hand function again, within six months of taking the Mangosteen Juice, I was back to my full exercise schedule, with full use of my hand and 90% of the elbow pain was gone.

I stopped all medication when I started the Mangosteen Juice, also known as Xango, and I am still pain free, almost two years later.

I drink 1 oz.of the Mangosteen Juice three times a day and won't leave home without the juice! I also tell all my gym buddy's about this wonderful juice!
