Hey, the word is really getting around about the health benefits of the mangosteen juice! Check out the article titled "Studying the Next Superfood" in the May, 2009 issue of Martha Stewart Living Magazine.
Questions were posed to physician Brent A. Bauer of the Complimentary and Integrative Medicine Program at the Mayo Clinic, about the health benefits of mangosteen. Dr. Bauer is conducting the first large-scale clinical human trials on the mangosteen fruit.

Xango - Proven Goodness!

Mangosteen Fruit
Statement by Robert Conlee, CEO of XanGo, LLC
LEHI, UTAH - March 6, 2009 - XanGo, LLC, the first company to market a premium mangosteen beverage, continues to lead the superfruit movement. As a global nutrition company, XanGo now reaches 23 countries and is expanding the benefits of the popular mangosteen to new applications. With the launch of Glimpse™ Intuitive Skin Care, XanGo revisits its category-creating status by introducing the first personal care product to feature the power of the mangosteen at its foundation to deliver the fruit's numerous nutrients through a green, toxin-free formula that protects consumer's health and the environment.
Introducing Innovative, Topical Mangosteen Experience
The development of a personal care brand using mangosteen was a natural progression in the company's growth following last year's introduction of 3SIXTY5™, a whole food nutrition mangosteen-based multi-vitamin. In November 2008, XanGo introduced Glimpse Intuitive Skin Care as topical nutrition that is free of harsh chemicals and featuring green chemistry technology in self-adjusting formulas.
One of the formula's driving ingredients is BioActive X3 Complex™, a proprietary ingredient that incorporates an exclusive biofermentation technology that combines meticulous, time-honored techniques with advanced science from Japan to amplify the phytonutrient potency of the mangosteen. The inclusion of these three exclusive ingredients with mangosteen-infused water helps ensure optimum nutrient density in the formulas to further promote the health-giving properties of the mangosteen.
XanGo has made a public commitment to green chemistry by signing the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, by which the company pledges to do no harm and to comply with EU directive 1776 that bans the use of several chemicals popularly used in personal care products in the U.S.
Rising to the Popularity of the Mangosteen
Exotic, nutrient-packed fruits are taking front stage in the natural health marketplace. As the National Restaurant Association reports, superfruits have sustained consumer interest and represent a significant area of growth in 2009. These antioxidant-packed fruits rank 7th among "Top 20" hot trends and 3rd among products in "What's Hot" in a chef survey done by the NRA.
XanGo was able to get ahead of and capitalize on that trend when it introduced the category-creating XanGo® Juice just six years ago. Since that time and several new product introductions later, XanGo is now a cumulative $1.5 billion sales company. With more than 1 million direct sales distributors worldwide, XanGo now spans four continents.
Even in a tough economy, XanGo is positioned well as it continues to experience strong sales. Both natural products and direct sales fare well during an economic downturn as evidenced by data released by Information Resources Inc. citing nationwide retail sales of vitamins and supplements that totaled nearly $639 million in the fourth quarter of 2008, a 10 percent jump from 2007. Meanwhile, the direct sales industry operates at 5 percent higher growth than the gross domestic product when the economy contracts, according to the Direct Selling Association. All of which bodes well for XanGo, which fortuitously represents the best of both natural products and direct sales.
Leading Scientific Research on Mangosteen Performance
With scientific partners that include Northridge, Calif.-based Medicus Research, Weber State University and leading independent laboratories, XanGo continues to spearhead scientific exploration of the whole mangosteen fruit through a tiered approach on safety, standardization and efficacy.
In XanGo's most recent independent research of the mangosteen completed in January 2009, promising peer-reviewed clinical trials by the UCLA School of Medicine's Dr. Jay K. Udani have shown that XanGo® Juice reduces inflammation in obese subjects, which may be valuable in preventing the progression to diabetes and heart disease. This eight-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study included a pre-study two-week washout period. It evaluated the effect of multiple dosages of a proprietary mangostoeen juice on indicators of inflammation and antioxidant levels in obese patients with elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels.
Previous independent research sponsored by XanGo has demonstrated that the proprietary whole fruit formula in XanGo Juice leads to high levels of xanthone absorption while unnaturally elevated levels of xanthone consumption actually were shown to decrease absorption efficiency.
XanGo is intent on continuing to lead the worldwide market in mangosteen-based research and category-creating mangosteen-based products. Expect more research in the coming years that continues to validate existing claims about the mangosteen and further product extensions that broaden the benefits of the mangosteen to myriad oral, topical and other wellness applications.

Don't forget about the juice!
Wow, the whole Glimpse intuitive skin care launch has really taken off, as Xango is set to revolutionize the skin care industry!
But let's not forget that Xango still has the category creating leader in mangosteen juice products! This is the juice that launched a company, a brand, an opportunity and a health drink category.
Recently, I sent someone to my site, and they noticed that with all of the Glimpse information, it was hard to find information on the Xango juice. Well, here it is.
To find out more about the Xango mangosteen juice, just go to www.myxango.com/mangosteennation.
There you can find out all you need to know about Xango, and how it all got started. You can even try a bottle, if you want.

Xango in the News - OpTree.com
Check out what OpTree has to say about the launch of Xango's Glimpse Skin Care Line. You can also read the original story on OpTree by clicking here.
As we broke the news back in July, in a mere three weeks from now, XanGo
The new Glimpse Skin line with not only feature the benefits of the mangosteen fruit, but will also feature the proprietary technology of the BioActive X3 Complex, a revolutionary system that will help deliver the ingredients to the skin. The BioActive is an all natural, clean and toxin free complex that will naturally nourish the skin.
“Glimpse is a natural, strategic extension of our business, and we’re proud to take the lead again by creating the category for topical skin nutrition from the mangosteen fruit,” said XanGo Founder and Board Chairman/CEO Aaron Garrity. “What XanGo Juice brought to the world six years ago in terms of creating a category and introducing a ground floor business opportunity, Glimpse will offer for topical mangosteen nutrition. The difference is that six years later we are in 23 countries with a sophisticated infrastructure and one million independent distributors to support the launch of Glimpse.”
Glimpse will become available on November 7th throughout the United States and Canada. The product will be introduced to the remaining 21 countries where XanGo products are sold in the first half of 2008. The product can be purchased online or through independent distributors.

Mangosteen Helped My Daughter's ADD
My daughter is now 20 years old and had been on medication for ADD since she was diagnosed at 7. It helped her tremendously, but we were always concerned. She had trouble gaining weight, she was noticibly irritated when she didn't take it as an adolescent and she decided to stop at 15 and went into a severe depression. Luckily, we worked things out and she began again on meds. Last Jan(07) she came and said she wanted to stop. She is in college with a rigorous schedule and she is a nutrition major. We discussed what to keep in mind when looking at the effects of not being on meds and she began taking mangosteen juice regularly in the am and pm. She is doing great and able to focus and work for long hours and is quite content and happy (most important!). During the time she was on meds we had occassional fainting that ended up being related to mitral valve prolapse. Nothing severe, but we do check her heart regularly; especially now that there have been warnings issued in regard to the medications used for ADD.
I also have an older daughter that had trouble with acne for many years, had been on accutane twice (we couldn't find any other resolution) and finally tried mangosteen juice and her skin has become beautiful again. We are true believers!! Try it, it can't hurt!

Xango heads up Operation Smile in Mexico
May 28, 2008 – From May 29 to June 6 in the city of Guadalajara, Operation Smile, a worldwide children's medical charity, will bring together 40 medical professionals and dozens of other volunteers to provide life-altering care for hundreds of children in Mexico. The mission will provide surgeries for those who suffer from cleft lips and/or cleft palates.
Led by Operation Smile Mexico, A.C., the mission will mobilize volunteers from Canada, Mexico and the United States, who will provide complete physical examinations and reconstructive surgeries for those born with facial deformities. The mission will take place at Instituto de Cirugía Reconstructiva de Jalisco in Guadalajara.
Operation Smile Mexico, A.C., works with a local network of medical and non-medical volunteers to provide integral medical services that include evaluations, reconstructive surgeries, speech therapy and nutritional plans, among others. These volunteers work together to restore smiles and change the lives of children, young adults and families who face the challenges associated with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate. XanGo, LLC is the title sponsor for this mission; other regional sponsors include José Cuervo, Banorte, American Express, Keery de México S.A. de C.V., Colgate Palmolive, Monte Alban Art Gallery Foundation and American School Foundation.
"As a global company committed to supporting the needs of children around the world, XanGo is honored to support Operation Smile Mexico, A.C, in its critical mission to better the lives of hundreds of children and families in Mexico," said Joe Morton, founder and board member for XanGo, LLC, category creator as the first company to bring a mangosteen beverage to a global market. "The work of Operation Smile and its volunteers will literally save lives and open up new avenues of opportunity that otherwise would not have been possible for the mission's recipients."
XanGo is promoting and actively supporting this medical mission to help bring attention to children and young adults with facial deformities. Through its global philanthropic movement, XanGo Goodness, the company has established a corporate alliance with Operation Smile Mexico, A.C. to extend this assistance to individuals and families in Mexico who are most in need. Already, XanGo has committed to sponsor a second mission to Guadalajara in September. Together, the two missions embody the XanGo Goodness vision of mobilizing the company’s global resources, employees and distributors to make a difference and improve living for those who are less fortunate.
"The support private companies provide, whether donating time or money, is fundamental for Operation Smile to be able to assist children and young adults around the world. Close to 100 children will be helped during this medical mission in Guadalajara. In as little as 45 minutes a cleft lip surgery can change the life of a child forever; however, there are many people who need this surgery who do not have the necessary resources," said Laura Trigo, executive director of Operation Smile Mexico.
The first Operation Smile medical mission in Mexico took place in 2005 and since then the organization's medical volunteers have provided free physical examinations to more than 450 children with facial deformities and close to 300 children have received free reconstructive surgery during medical missions. Operation Smile Mexico, A.C. recognizes and is grateful for the collaboration with the "Instituto de Cirugía Reconstructiva de Jalisco," the generous sponsor and center of all the medical missions and educational programs of the organization in Mexico.
The most recent mission in Mexico took place in November 2007 during Operation Smile's 25th Anniversary World Journey of Smiles, when volunteers from Australia, Canada and the United States worked together with the Mexican medical team in Puerto Vallarta. During this event, physical examinations were conducted for 88 children and young adults, and 50 were treated.

A Note From 500K Premier, Anton Garrity
Many of us recently returned from the Elevation event in the Cayman Islands. What a gorgeous hotel XanGo chose. We went to Stingray City and played with the Stingrays, (now that was a once in a lifetime experience), played in a golf tournament, and even had a sand castle building contest.
It was topped off with a wonderful dinner with a Caribbean band around a huge pool, only to have many of us take the plunge in our dress clothes at the end. Class with a splash. The feeling at this event was truly unique.
The highlight at Elevation really was the information given to us during the meetings. We all reaffirmed to each other how special this company really is and even more so how we as leaders need to set the example for everyone in XanGo.
We just returned from the first XanGo 500K trip to the magical city of Paris! It was amazing and was done only like XanGo can do it. From luggage, gifts, helicopter tour of Paris, dinner cruise on the Seine etc. I could go on and on, but I had a chance to visit with other 500Ks.
One thing that struck me was when 500K Estela Salinas told me how she's been involved with this industry for decades, she'd actually filled a 60,000 seat arena in Mexico City with her downline and she said, "XanGo simply doesn't happen in this industry. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. This company is truly blessed and makes the right decisions for us as leaders."
I recently was having breakfast with our Master Distributor, Dwayne Dyer, and he said, "I never thought I would find a company with all the right components. Leadership I trust is what drew me here. The outstanding products is icing on the cake for me."
Just look at the new opportunities beginning with XanGo this year.
There are people who are just dreaming about a way to achieve their hopes and desires. I know - I was one of them. I had never been involved in this industry before. I know that anything is possible. Diligence, perseverance, hard work, follow through. These are just some of the things we need to do to get what we want out of this opportunity.
In the past 25 years, I've been around many successful companies. I've seen companies come and go. After, nearly 6 years with XanGo, I can say we have the greatest Network Marketing Company ever created!
The first 5 and a half years have been amazing. Tremendous growth, vibrant opportunity and so many people's lives have truly been blessed by this company and product.
There are times I still can't believe I am part of this great adventure.
There's one thing I will always tell distributors, "Trust the Company." I left my corporate position and joined XanGo because I knew that these 6 founders are unlike any other owners in this industry. They care about us and they care that we're successful. They think ahead. And they've built a strong company with outstanding executive talent and a genuine commitment to providing legendary service. I see them on a daily basis, making tough decisions to ensure we have what we need to be successful in the field.
I've never seen anything quite like it, their success is our success and vice versa. Just look at the competitors who have come and gone in the past 5 years. XanGo is here for the long-haul and we're not slowing down.
This summer has been a whirlwind. It started with the launch of 3Sixty5 in Orlando. What an amazing event with nearly 4,000 distributors. I have to admit I have been shocked at how many calls I have received just to tell me how great these vitamins really are. Would we expect XanGo to have an anything less than the best?
Those already reaping success with 3Sixty5 are selling this new XanGo brand on three key points:
1. 3Sixty5 is made from whole foods. Mangosteen rind concentrate with 12 fruits and 12 vegetables - a natural foundation to ensure balanced nutrition and superior absorption.
2. 3Sixty5 is one of the very few vitamin lines available that provides chelated minerals. Every mineral is wrapped in amino acids which drives absorption.
3. 3Sixty5 is one of the only whole food vitamins that provides heart health in addition to increased bone health nutrients for women and prostate benefits for men.
If you were to buy all of those supplement elements individually, you would spend hundreds of dollars. Yet, we get all of this with 3Sixty5 for $60. At Elevation, we had insight into the sales performance of 3Sixty5 so far. It's a huge launch! And most who are now buying 3Sixty5 are doing so IN ADDITION to their XanGo Juice ADP.
As leaders, we must continue to teach by example. Let's drive the growth of 3Sixty5 and set the stage for the biggest product launch the industry has ever seen with Glimpse this November.
I am grateful every day for this company for the friendships I have created and for how this company has touched my life and those around me. I see this everywhere I go and it truly touches my heart. Anyone can do this business. Yet, it takes someone special to lead. Great leaders will lead the way through this time of economic challenge. So many are looking for solutions to their financial problems. This is a time for great leaders to provide the answer.
Let's make it our time.
All my best,
Anton Garrity

Mangosteen Helped My Gout!
5/5/2007 -- Venie from Idaho
For years I have suffered from a severe pain called Gout, usually in my toes. I have avoided so many foods that are rich in purine such as shrimp, crab, beans, spinach, red meat, etc. which would trigger my Gout every time I ate them. I joined so many Natural or Herbal Companies in hopes that their products would help me with this issue. Their products helped me somewhat with my health but never with my Gout. I had not stopped searching until I was introduced to the mangosteen juice. After 2 months of drinking the juice I decided to try eating shrimp which is one of my favorite seafoods. To my amazement my Gout did not flare up. So then, I tried it again the next day just to make sure. I am excited to say that my Gout never came back and I am now enjoying any food I want to eat without being afraid of my Gout flaring up again. Life is good. Thanks to mangosteen juice and to the people responsible in introducing this miraculous fruit juice to America. Thank you!
